NFL Week 10 Picks
By Wes Whiteside

No picks from week 9

Bye teams: Cincinnati Bengals, Dallas Cowboys, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Washington Redskins

Thursday Night Game:

Denver Broncos (4-4) at Cleveland Browns (3-5): Here you go Brownies fans, you finally get to see you super sexy hunk of a quarterback Brady Quinn this week. I wonder what the ratings will be for females watching this week.
BRONCOS by 10
Fantasy Pick: Eddie Royal WR of the Broncos

1:00 pm Games:

New Orleans Saints (4-4) at Atlanta Falcons (5-3): After totally shutting the dismantled Raiders down last week the Falcons will get a glimpse of an offense that’s ten times better. They better bring their A game this week they’re going against the mighty arm of Drew Brees.
SAINTS by 3 in OT
Fantasy Pick: Drew Brees QB of the Saints

Tennessee Titans (8-0) at Chicago Bears (5-3): After suffering a gruesome looking ankle injury Bears QB Kyle Orton is out, in comes every Bears fan favorite quarterback Rex Grossman. Well he’s really not their favorite but he gets the nod to try to hand the Titans their first lost of the season. The Titans defense loves to take advantage of quarterbacks making mistakes, and we all know how Rexy loves to make them.
TITANS by 14
Fantasy Pick: LenDell White RB of the Titans

Jacksonville Jaguars (3-5) at Detroit Lions (0-8): The Jags have totally lost the swagger they held last year. They were the bullies of the NFL, now they’re getting bullied. This week they will try to push the around the skinny kid in school and will end up get sucker punched right in the mouth.
UPSET SPECAIL LIONS by 7
Fantasy Pick: Calvin Johnson WR of the Lions

Baltimore Ravens (5-3) at Houston Texans (3-5): Boy, what a difference three weeks have been for Ravens rookie quarterback Joe Flacco. The last 3 weeks Flacco have thrown 76 consecutive passes without an interception, not to mention he has 4 TDs to match those no picks.
RAVENS by 10
Fantasy Pick: Ravens Defense

Seattle Seahawks (2-6) at Miami Dolphins (4-4): Dolphins new coach Tony Sparano has completely changed to domineer of the team, just last year this team had to squeak out one win the whole season. If they win this game they are competing for a division title.
DOLPHINS by 6
Fantasy Pick: Chad Pennington QB of the Dolphins

Green Bay Packers (4-4) at Minnesota Vikings (4-4): I believe whoever can win this game will win the NFC Central division. Don’t think the Vikings forgot about the tough lost to the Packer in week one. The Vikings believe the difference will be having Gus Frerotte behind center and not Tarvaris Jackson.
VIKINGS by 3 in Overtime
Fantasy Pick: Bernard Berrian WR of the Vikings

Buffalo Bills (5-3) at New England Patriots (5-3): Before the Bills played a divisional game they were 5-1 and first in the division, since then they are 5-3 and are in a three way tie for first place. Here a chance for the Bills to stop the bleeding before it cost them a playoff spot.
BILLS by 7
Fantasy Pick: Trent Edwards QB of the Bills

St. Louis Rams (2-6) at New York Jets (5-3): Forget it’s all about Brett Favre it’s not let me tell you the past four games have been all about Thomas Jones. When Brett has been struggling he has put the team on his back Jones has 5 TDs the last four games. If the Jets want to make the playoffs they will have to keep it out the hand of Favre.
JETS by 14
Fantasy Pick: Thomas Jones RB of the Jets

4:00 pm Games:

Carolina Panthers (6-2)at Oakland Raiders (2-7): The Panthers might be the sleep in the NFC, because no one even realizes how good they are on offense and defense. Mark my words they will be heard from when playoffs start.
PANTHERS by 17
Fantasy Pick: Steve Smith WR of the Panthers

Indianapolis Colts (4-4) at Pittsburgh Steelers (6-2): There is a reason why Steeler fans waive their terrible towels around this season. Their defense is arguably the best in the NFL, here’s a stat Steelers linebackers James Harrison and Lamar Woodley have combined for 15 1/2 sacks in their last six games. Look out Peyton Manning!
STEELERS by 6
Fantasy Pick: Steelers Defense

Kansas City Chiefs (1-7) at San Diego Chargers (3-5): Don’t look now but the Chargers are surging for the top spot in the AFC South, they have found their running game and Philip Rivers has been consistent the last two games. They will need a heavy dose of both to win this game.
CHARGERS by 20
Fantasy Pick: Vincent Jackson WR of the Chargers

Sunday Night Game:

New York Giants (7-1) at Philadelphia Eagles (5-3): The Giants are underdogs in this game, are you serious? Looks like they will have to prove to us all that you can’t count Eli and his gang out of it. But, be aware that Mr. do it his self running back Brian Westbrook on the Eagles is finally healthy.
GIANTS by 6 in Overtime
Fantasy Pick: Brandon Jacobs RB of the Giants

Monday Night Game:

San Francisco 49ers (2-6) at Arizona Cardinals (5-3): Cardinals quarterback Curt Warner has turned his team into the “Greatest Show in Arizona”, get this Warner has 16 TDs and only 6 picks with a QB rating of 104.2. That’s called getting the job done. Don’t worry about their running game either running back Tim Hightower his 7 TDs on the ground himself.
CARDINALS by 24
Fantasy Pick: Anquan Bolding WR of the Cardinals
