Jarred Brown....

               Down 4-2 in the seventh, Mercyhurst’s Prep Jarred Brown not only brought in the game tying runs, but also managed to score the game winning run as well. For his late inning heroics, Jarred Brown is this week’s Quinn Law Firm Athlete of the Week.

            After trailing Villa Maria 4-2, the Lakers started the bottom of the seventh with Shane Hodapp drawing a walk. A Matt Tobin double put runners in scoring position. Jarred Brown then smacked a double to bring in two runs to tie the game.

            With a heads up play, Brown stole third base setting up a wild pitch which Brown used to take home the win for Mercyhurst Prep.
