Asaph Daniel Schwapp, 26, was born in Hartford on January 26, 1987 and ended his courageous battle with lymphoma on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 surrounded by his family and close friends. This beloved son, brother, nephew, uncle, cousin, friend, and star athlete leaves a tremendous legacy of kindness, humor, love, and strength. He was a mentor, role model, and leader who excelled in academics as well as sports.

University To Examine Notre Dame Stadium Location
The University of Notre Dame announced today (May 2) that it is exploring an innovative approach to campus planning that would take advantage of the central location of the football stadium to make it a hub for, among other possibilities, a student center, media center and classroom and conference center.

Kelly Cares Foundation Set To Host Fourth Annual Football 101 on June 11
The Kelly Cares Foundation, a charity founded by University of Notre Dame head football coach Brian Kelly and his wife, Paqui, will co-host the fourth edition of the highly touted Football 101 from 5-10 p.m. on June 11 on the University campus. Title sponsors are adidas, Meijer and Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, with supporting sponsors Boling Vision Center, Notre Dame Federal Credit Union and ABC 57.

Four Irish Players Drafted On Day Three Of 2013 NFL Draft
Former University of Notre Dame safety Jamoris Slaughter was selected by the Cleveland Browns in the sixth round (175th overall), running back Theo Riddick was taken by the Detroit Lions in the sixth round (199th overall), defensive end Kapron Lewis-Moore was drafted by the Baltimore Ravens in the sixth round (200th overall) and safety Zeke Motta went to the Atlanta Falcons in the seventh round (244th overall) of the 2013 NFL Draft at Radio City Music Hall in New York on Saturday.
